I Grafismi di Damir Doma: Guest star al Pitti W

Nuova scoperta nel campo della Moda: Damir Doma (Virovitica, 1981) è uno stilista croato. Cresciuto nel sud della Germania, dove la madre gestisce un atelier di moda, terminati gli studi presso la scuola di moda ESMOD (Ecole Supérieure des Arts et techniques de la Mode), inizia a lavorare nella capitale Anversa presso la maison Ann Demeulemeester e più tardi Raf Simons.  Nel 2006 dopo l'incontro con l'amministratore delegato del gruppo internazionale di moda e design "Paper Rain", Doma si unisce al gruppo e lancia la sua prima linea per uomo durante la Settimana della moda a Parigi in giugno 2007. Lo stile, come scelta di materiali, colori e shilouette, viene spesso associato a stilisti come Rick Owens e Ann Demeulemeester ed il suo stile viene definito come "Intellettuale, poetico e minimalista". Nel 2009 Doma apre una boutique segreta a Parigi, nel rinomato quartiere del Marais, dove ha sede anche il suo studio. Tra i suoi clienti affezionati vanta celebrità come Lenny Kravitz, Bruce Springsteen, Jared Leto, Robert Pattinson,Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey e Kirsten Dunst. All'evento Pitti 2013, i grafismi e il minimalismo della nuova collezione Resort dello stilista Damir Doma, guest designer di Pitti W n. 12, sfilano a Firenze, nella cornice dei giardini di Palazzo Corsini al Prato, accompagnate dalle note dal vivo del pianoforte suonate da Giovanni Guidi.

Growing up in southern Germany, where his mother runs a fashion studio, completed his studies at the fashion school ESMOD (Ecole Supérieure des Arts et techniques de la Mode), he began working in the capital at the maisonAnn Demeulemeester Antwerp and later Raf Simons.

In 2006, after meeting with the CEO of the international group of fashion and design "Paper Rain", Doma joins the group and launched his first line for men during the Fashion Week in Paris in June 2007.
