L' artista Donna Franklin propone: Un abito DI...VINO





"Non solo nel bicchiere: il vino entra anche nei guardaroba!"

Ci ha pensato Donna Franklin  ricercatrice e accademica presso la Scuola di Comunicazione e Arti, Facoltà di Scienze della Formazione e Arti, Edith Cowan University (ECU), che osservando le trasformazioni di un telo che copriva un tino contenente mosto in fermentazione con il suo team ha dato vita ad un tessuto. 
Il tessuto,è staot generato  dai batteri acetici, ovvero quelli che permettono la trasformazione del vino in aceto, che hanno dato vita a delle fibre di cellulosa simile al cotone. Il progetto è stato molto apprezzato e poi  presentato al Festival annuale del Tartufo a Mundaring Arts Centre.
La Franklin, collabora spesso con i professionisti attraverso le arti, discipline umanistiche e delle scienze per creare reti per/ con le comunità tra laureati e studenti universitari, artisti locali, nazionali e internazionali, ed ha esposto opere le sue opere biologiche e non biologiche a livello nazionale e internazionale.

Donna Franklin is an academic researcher at the School of Communication and Arts , Faculty of Education and Arts , Edith Cowan University (ECU) , noting that the transformations of a cloth covering a vat containing the fermenting must with his team has given rise to a tissue .
